Hailing from northcentral WV, Brother Short consists of singer/guitarist/songwriters Greg Short and 'Minstrel' Paul Burger, bassist Chuck Wilson and drummer Bill Harding. Over 100 years of collective experience in songwriting, performing and entertaining is evident in their music, both live and in the studio.With influences ranging from Marshall Tucker, The Allman Brothers, The Eagles, Little Feat, CSN&Y, Doobie Brothers and many others, their sound appeals to a wide variety of musical tastes and genres

The first CD, 'Sacred Fire' conveys the groups' diverse influences from country to classic rock, with plenty of stops in between. Their second CD, “Grey” is a continuation of the evolving expression of the groups shared musical roots. On MP3.com, “Give It Time” and “Harley” reached #12 and #39 on the music charts.
