Brixia is the name of a celtic goddess.... we took her name... she won't get mad, we 've got the same blood! Brixia is a band of french people who have a lot of things to say. We didn't find music we wanted in record shops, so we deceided to make it by ourselves! Aude, the singer, writes all the lyrics, and Virginie and Charles only play on fender and gibson guitars!

At the beginning, Aude was alone Brixia. She worked with musicians, of course, but they were not the band. Then, after lives, some guys came to talk with her : first Charles, who plays guitar, and, later, Guillaume and Jérémie, bass and keybords. They were fans, and Aude asked them if they wanted to work with her : they weren't execting it, so they were full of hapyness! Now they are the band! After the first CD, 'Mon Clan Et Les Miens', we are working on a new album (for december 1999), ' Amnésia'.

Brixia is going to play for the Jubileum of 2000, for young christian peole to have fun to thank God on this Saint Year! There will be a great concert on saturday nigth, and Sunsay will be for Mass and prayer.

Good guitar rifs, but also beautifull lyrics, this is Brixia! We like Fred Perry's clothes, doc'Martens! We discovered music with cold wave, with 'Systers of mercy', 'Joy Division', 'New Order' : it was the first music feeling we caugth! Now we listen to all rock, american, british and french one
