Brian Dolzani is a 29 year-old writer whose lyrics bring you in like a one-on-one bonding session with an old friend. Words are carefully chosen, clear and real. “I speak only when I see a good reason to, when I can offer something of value,” Brian affirms. “ That’s the way I write lyrics too, I can’t just ‘jot and sing.’ It has to really mean something.”
Inspired by philosophy, life, nature and anything that asks the question ‘why?’, Brian crafts songs that pull you inward and tell an honest tale. His vision is one that looks on the bright side, yet he easily feels the struggles, pains and twists and turns that we all feel as human beings.
Utilizing the skills of some of Nashville’s best musicians and producer Johnny Pierce, Brian crafted a record that captures the modern styles of Shawn Mullins, David Gray and Dido, with classic techniques of The Beatles and Neil Young.
Songs like “Find The Truth” and “Dharma Bums” are part of Brian’s adventurous spiritual side. “When We Were Young” and “Fall In My Arms” tell tales of remembrance. “One On The Way” and “I’m Alright” flush out his optimism, a ‘brighter-sided vision’ he believes is within all of us.
