Brene Wilson is an unsigned, self-taught solo singer/songwriter from Northern Delaware. He has been writing his own music since the early 1990's. He started out like every other young aspiring musician: playing, practicing and dreaming in his bedroom. Musically Brene creates his own personal style by fusing the smoothness and catchiness of pop with the edginess of alternative and rock. With other interesting flavors mixed in as well. His melodies are undeniably catchy, rhythmically and tonally engaging. His lyrics are written mostly on a personal level with songs mainly dealing with inner thoughts and feelings. He has performed in a number of places ranging from The Rusty Rudder in Dewey Beach, Delaware with his side band The Love Company, to the Bar-B in New York City. Even as far down south to the Green Parrot in Key West, FL. He has also recently been chosen out of over 450 bands & artists around the country to perform at the first annual Dewey Beach Music Conference & Showcase on September 27-29th 2002 in Dewey Beach, DE. In early April of 2002 Brene released his own independent 6 song EP Hopeless Dreamer. Which he written, performed and recorded himself. The first single 'Faith Is Falling' has been played on the major radio station WSTW 93.7FM in Wilmington, Delaware. The 3rd track 'Start Again' was chosen and included on the first compilation CD from HALE Magazine. The cd has also been receiving positive reviews & feedback from the public, fans, and other musicians alike. Right now Brene is currently recording his full length CD 'morningstargazer' which is scheduled to be released sometime in Spring 2003.
