The Brandy Stills Band has been performing throughout Virginia, Maryland and West Virginia for more than 30 years before packed audiences. The band has the crowd dancing at their tables and jamming the dance floor with their heart-felt playing. The band is comprised of seven multi-talented performers who will not only have you on your toes but bring tears to your eyes with a well-delivered song from lead singer Michelle, as she pours out her heart and soul, reaching into the inner-most parts of your heart and recaptures memories with songs from noted entertainers such as Martina McBride, Tammy Wynette to Pat Benatar. The band also performs many original songs, penned by Michelle Dupwe and keyboardist/vocalist Chuck Smith.Michelle Dupwe (lead vocals) has a truly unique voice that delivers a beautiful soft ballad with passion, immediately followed by a Shania Twain tune, performed in her inimitable sassy style that will have you dancing in the aisles. From his vibrant southern rock style to his renditions of songs from such noted artists as Travis Tritt, James will have the dance floor getting down to the music.James Hann (Pedal Steel Guitar, Fiddle, Mandolin, Dobro and Sax) has outstanding musical abilities that keep fans of all ages on their feet and having a stomping great time. He is a multi-instrument virtuoso who exhibits his technical prowess with precision and class. Chuck Smith (vocals, keyboard, guitar) who has a superb songwriting talent, with an obscure flair, grounds the band musically. Doug Marsh, (bass guitar, vocals) whose diverse talents include acting as the group's irreverent toastmaster, capable of turning any audience into noise bylaw violators in no time. Gary White (drums) is one of the hottest percussionists around. He is one of an elite few drummers who can entertain a crowd with an extended drum solo. His tight fills and steely-hard backbeats are the foundation for Brandy Stills' hard-driving rhythms.J.R. Hann (guitar) might be the youngest of the group, but with his Jimmy Hendrix's talent, he is WOWING the audience with his eclectic, energized and fiery guitar techniques. He has the amazing sponge-like ability to absorb and digest all the musical influences he's exposed to. Skills he has honed will electrify fans of all ages and genders.Rounding out the band is Kenny Blair (sound, vocals), the man who can take you back to the days of George Jones yet light you on fire with one of George Straits many hits. Relatives of Chuck Smith started the band, originally called The Silvertones. Brandy Stills as we know it today obtained the name by moon shiners of the 60’s in Loudoun County, noted for distilling brandy.The band has under gone some changes in the thirty years since they have been performing, under the leadership of Mr. James Hann they still strive for making Brandy Stills a band that is know for their near flawless performances and a whole lotta' fun.
