The sound has been compared to a cross between the melodic sounds of Squeeze and the musical stylings of Toad the Wet Sprocket. The group strives to combine both electric guitar numbers with acoustic driven sounds to offer variety and diversify their sound. Influences include: Toad the Wet Sprocket, Crowded House, Elvis Costello, Squeeze, The Police, Oingo Boingo and The Beatles.
Brandon Douglas began performing with groups and a solo artist since 1989 his sophmore year in High School. He has gone on to both front bands and play bass in bands sharing duties on vocals. Brandon's musical stylings and influenced have fluctuated but one constant has been his love for the Beatles and their melodic stylings in both their vocals and arrangements.
Brandon has been playing with Mark Wirthlin since 1989 sharing vocal duties as well as switching back and forth on guitar and bass. Current drummer Paul Kloepfer has been playing with the group since 1999 and credits Sting's stickman Manu Katche as his major influence.
The group is close to releasing a seven song EP titled 'The Stupid EP'. Brandon has been developing his sound and the group have taken time in this project to try and develop a truly original sound that they can be proud to present.
