Boss Star are a four piece powerpop band from Dundee in Scotland. Their music is a combination of weezer guitars, Fountains of Wayne choruses and the raw emotion of Doves. aged between 18 and 22, they have just finished recording their debut EP 'Belong Beside You' at Seagate Studios in Dundee, which includes the stormingly catchy Morningville and Oh Yeah Revolution.

Boss Star consists of Jamie Wooldridge (bass, vox), Craig Mclaren (guitar, vox), Dan Schmitz (guitar) and Jonny wooldridge (drums). They formed through rough rehearsals in St Andrews and quickly progressed from playing covers of Grandaddy, Fountains, Green Day and Ash to a comprehensive set of their own material, which they have recently started touring to great response, with audience members singing along after one hearing of the songs.

They have recorded seven tracks in total, King of Birds, Breaking Mirrors, Morningville, Comedown, Oh Yeah Revolution, NYC and El Heartbreaker, four of which will appear on Belong Beside You.
