Blunt was formed in the summer of 2000. What originally started as some kind of summer joke soon caught the attention of the different musical underground environments of their hometown of Aarhus, Denmark. Having played a number of concerts all over the Danish continent (!) Blunt is now wellknown for a very energetic and committed live performance with itīs genuine mixture of reggae, metal and hip hop. Having their origins in various metal, hardcore and punkbands, Blunt have created their own style and sound of reggae working with Danish no 1 hardcore producer Tue Madsen on their first full length record entitled Reggae Da Nation, which was released in 2003 and also features the work of keyboadplayer Viggo Jay.In the spring of 2004 original lead guitarist HP Mululu decided to leave the band and soon after he was replaced with hard rocker Mads Schaarup also playing with punkīnīroll act The Guvīnors.
