Jerry and Audrey Foran originally formed the Bluegrass Connection in 2002 with Richard and Glynda Jones becoming active in 2005. Composed of 5 musicians led by Master Banjo player Jerry Foran.Jerry has been an active player for many years and played the Bluegrass Festival circuit nationwide in the late 1970's thru 1992 with his band the Bluegrass Revolution, sharing the stage with the likes of Bill Monroe, The Johnson Mountain Boys, The Osbournes, Doyle Lawson , and many more. He has played the Grand Ole Opry and has made many radio and TV guest appearances. Doing that time frame his group produced 12 albums. He decided to retire from the road after the Band split up in 1992. He has been living in Florida for the past few years. Keeping active in his music by playing Regional events.

Audrey, who is our lead singer, started playing and singing Bluegrass after attending a Bluegrass festival some 20 years ago and falling in love with the music. Prior to her conversion to Bluegrass, she performed with several regional country bands. Audrey loves to sing both Bluegrass and Bluegrass Gospel.Richard and Glynda Jones joined the group right after they moved to Central Florida from West Tennessee, where they had been active in several Bluegrass clubs. Richard has been playing the mandolin since 1986. Before that, he played lead guitar and bass in a country band . Glynda plays bass for the group and comes from a long line of family musicians.Floyd Smith joined the band in 2006. Floyd was born and raised in Kentucky, migrating to Florida in 1981. He has had several Bluegrass bands over the years and has performed at Bluegrass Festival thruout the Southeast . Floyd plays Guitar, sings lead, and provides the high tenor in the group.

The Bluegrass Connection is known for it's 'High Energy' Bluegrass led by the unique hard driving Banjo style of Jerry and the sweet vocals of Audrey with harmony's provided by the rest of the group. Richard's playing style on the Mandolin goes beyond the traditional chop style of playing and adds an extra dimension to the 'Hard Driving Rhythms' of the group with Glynda's bass playing providing the solid foundation. Floyds singing and lead playing has fit nicely into the bands style of music. The Bluegrass Connection also loves to play Bluegrass Gospel. They can really deliver an unique program of hard driving and sweet soul searching gospel music...
