Blasta came together in 1998, and after a few member changes ended up with the current line-up. The band built up a strong fan base in Yamanashi Prefecture before making a name for themselves in Tokyo, all the while refining and developing their unique sound.

And a unique sound it is, adding British Rock and a Digital Beat to their strong Celtic foundations. Always experimenting and continually extending the musical boundaries of their sound, Blasta are equally appealing to those who want to dance as they are to those who enjoy melodies.

Blasta are in the process of putting together their first self-produced album, tentatively titled Patience Soup, and aim to release it before the end of 2001.
