Bill Kurzenberger is a dynamic keyboardist / singer / songwriter / guitarist from Columbus, Ohio. He currently plays keyboards and Hammond organ with John Mullins Band, Stone Groove and Grasshopper Pie, in addition to his solo performances.
Bill's influences range from Americana blues to funk to Bob Dylan and the Grateful Dead. He has recorded in the studio with acts ranging from the Ritchey Brothers Band to Thee Hands of Tyme.
Over the past decade, Bill has played many of Ohio's premier venues including the Newport Music Hall, the House of Blues, the Beachland Ballroom, the Winchester Music Hall, Legend Valley and Frontier Ranch Music Center. Bill has supported and shared the stage with renowned artists such as Melvin Seals and the Jerry Garcia Band, Vassar Clements, David Nelson Band, Derek Trucks Band, Hot Tuna and ekoostik Hookah.
In the summer of 2005, Bill recorded and produced his debut solo CD, entitled 'Suspending Disbelief'. Recorded at Rome Recording Studio in Columbus, it features six songs selected from over a decade of original material. The CD also features Ed Ritchey, Scott Maruskin, Scot Gassen, Julie Rearick and Craig Harpley. 'Suspending Disbelief' was released in December 2005.
