At the core of Big Hollow are three guys who love music and love a good time. We aren't trying to change the world or change anyone's mind. Music is an escape. That's why we love it and that's why we play. Our sound is high energy tapping the whiskey soaked attitude of 70's era AC/DC and blending it with low end of Primus. Add a touch of the Flaming Lips a dash of Phish and the damage is done. Ours songs range from the 3 minute sing along to the 20 minute jam session always keeping the crowd in mind.

We pride ourselves as much on our crowd interaction as we do the music. The folks in the crowd paid to get in. They're your friends. Give them what they paid for. We don't stare at the floor and look troubled. That sucks. This has been our atitude from the beginning and will remain so.

The band consists of Jake Beaudrie(bass/voices),Scott Gaensslen(drums/voices)and Phil McIntosh(guitar/voices). Originally formed as a 5 piece jam band, Big Hollow slowly evolved into a progressive/aggressive power pop jam trio with a sound like nothing you've heard before but will look forward to hearing again.
