Whether headlining a festival, or a bring-your-own-pet petting zoo, Big Boss Sausage will leave you stunned like a deer caught in the headlights of an eighteen-wheeler. No, Big Boss Sausage is not a breakfast special, but a high-voltage rocketship that has amazed tens of thousands of people, and performed in venues as diverse as campgrounds, theaters, clubs, fraternities, cafeterias, and even an occasional church or bowling alley. The band played a feature slot at the Woodstock Reunion (Bethel), was nominated for best live act in North New Jersey, and most recently built a float and won second place in a Winter Parade.
And people keep on seeing the Sausage. The band's unique, energized music has been featured on radio and television shows; there have been reported Sausage sightings on MTV's Local Spotlight and at a teen beauty pageant; and the mailing list is growing by the thousands, with fans spanning from Florida to Quebec, and hailing from such places as Norway, Tokyo and Africa.
Big Boss Sausage's music is 2 parts high-energy Rock and 1 part Blues, with a shot each of Country, Heavy Metal Bluegrass, Hip-Hop, Ham-Bonin' and Opera. Fronted by 6'7' half-brothers Mingo Lodge and Dimitri Thomas, this band can turn a well-crafted song, or your world, upside down. The music stands out with it's fast, driving guitar, soulful baritone vocals, zesty bass and atomic drums. These guys are coming to your world one day, and everything mundane and ordinary will be forgotten. After their show, like so many people before you, you'll be left staring at the ceiling for hours, wondering, 'Did those guys really play a bring-your-own-pet petting zoo?'
