Better Dayz was formed in June 2001. Looking to expand the capabilities of the band, three of the musicians from the band HighWay 30 teamed up with Keyboard player Max and vocalist Tim to emphasize danceable music as the band's main genre.

Better Dayz consists of Tim as lead vocalist, Dahl on lead guitar, Max on the keyboards, Gene on bass guitar, Ken on backbone rythem guitar, and Neil keeps it all together as drummer. Each band member brings their own style of playing to the group, which as a whole, produce a quality of music unsurpassed in the area.

Tired of playing smoke filled bars, the band began concentrating on private parties and public celebrations. Better Dayz has played local fund-raising events such as the Astoria Waterpark fundraiser, and the Fight for Life Cancer event. The band members have also played at the Warrenton Crab Festival and the Clatsop County Fair. Just recently, the band opened for Backlash, a Portland band, at the Riffestock Music Festaval at Riffe Lake, Mossy Rock, WA. for the third year in a row. Better Dayz is currently booked for private parties throughout Oregon.

Better Dayz has one goal in mind.... to liven up any party with recognizable, danceable music. The band member's commitment to excellence has served them well in the past, and will no doubt be a factor in their future endeavors.
