Beluga is one of Western Canada's most exciting live bands. They have been winning fans with their vibrant rock and roll shows, featuring the powerful vocals, wild stage antics of singer David Curran aka (Captain Canada), and the electric musicianship of guitarist Bill Podmore, drummer Mike Herle, bassist Sean O'Donohue, and keyboards Matt Wolfsohn. What do they sound like? Energized -Rock, described as 'James Brown meets the Who in outer space', in 2009. Their supercharged sound blends a mix of rock, funk, and electronic while maintaining a raw organic punch. Why should I care? Beluga is about to release their third independent album “Room To Rock” in the Spring of 2009. The release will include new songs “Room to rock”, “Deceiving Empire”, and “Rodger Dean”. They are planning to tour and release two new videos, a live DVD, establish a major distribution deal, targeting radio stations throughout North America , Europe, and Asia
