BaseCurve formed in 1998, 3 musicians with years of experience under their belts playing in various bands, but never having really been happy with what they had achieved. Drawing from such diverse influences as King's X, Dixie Dregs, Pink Floyd, and Alice in Chains, they were looking to create melodic, hard-rocking music with a groove flavor.

BaseCurve is Mike Bodily(Lead vocals, guitars), David Greenmyer(Backing vocals, drums), and Mike Carrisosa(Bass, synthpedals). Mike and Mike come from a formally trained background, having played in concert and marching bands in school. David comes from the 'feel' school of training, teaching himself the drums as a teenager. Collectively, BaseCurve has over 45 years of musical experience. Each member has his own eclectic tastes in music, but each has been able to finally find other musicians with the same goals.

2001 has been a watershed year for BaseCurve. It has seen them get extensive airplay on the 2 local rock/alternative stations, KRZR and New Rock 104. They have gigged steadily and have built a good following, especially among the other musicians in town. CDs have been sold, tshirts have been made, and the future looks bright for these hard-working musicians.
