Balloonatic is a Chicago based power trio, guitar, bass & drums. A unique feature of the band is versatility. Frank Conway and MO (Mariusz Owczarczak) switch instruments half way through any given set for a change of pace. These fine guitar players are also accomplished bass players. Balloonatic utilizes these talents to form a truly original sound. Drummer Kevin Karpa providing a tight pocket for the groups changing styles anchors the band. Balloonatic can not be defined or characterized into one genre of music. They cross the lines of many styles such as Blues, Rock, Pop, Funk, and sometimes jazz. Crowd enthusiasm and the ambition to entertain fuel their high-energy shows. Balloonatic consistently plays around the Chicago area and various state colleges.
