An eclectic blend of Country Rock, Southern Rock, andBlues best describe the musical style of Badly Bent, amusic band around Lexington Kentucky. Having alreadyproduced two CD’S the band is currently working on it’sthird. Comprised of, as Steve Young describes, “a bunch ofold broken down musicians, the band wants nothing morethan to write some really great music. However they dooccasionally perform a few live shows.

The band was formed in 2003 by singer/songwriters Steve Young, Fred Helmich and Leonard Crank.They were joined by country rock guitar maestro Robbie Canter and drummer Kenny “Neckbone” Harris. Music band Badly Bent produced their first CD “Just Bout Broke”. Leonard Crank left the band in 2004 and was replaced by Scott Aplegate. After the release of the band’s second CD“Everything to Lose” Scott left the band in 2007 and was replaced by guitar slide master Jim Thorpe.
