Such a name implies a willingness to not only tread where others fear to go but to thrive there. Religion, politics, lust, greed, power and idolatry. These are just some of the many themes that Babylon Mystery Orchestra spins in its Heavy Metal web. Drawing from musical influences as diverse as the Cult, Blue Oyster Cult, Tiamat, Sisters Of Mercy, KISS and Therion. All the while weaving in musical instruments often associated with other styles, yet never sacrificing POWER. Because ultimately everything about Babylon Mystery Orchestra revolves around POWER in all its incarnations.

In 2002 Sidney Allen Johnson launches the Babylon Mystery Orchestra. A musical adventure to breach subjects that would make others tremble. January 2003 saw the release of 'Divine Right Of Kings'. A CD that dared to suggest that the United states could be the Biblical Mystery Babylon. Is it political? Is it religious? The song 'It's My Right' stirred quite a bit of underground controversy. Early 2004 sees the release of 'On Earth as it is in Heaven'. A mystical journey to the origins of Rock and Roll music......4000 years ago!!!
