BS was formed in January of 2005 from 3 members of a Boy Scout Troop in Texas. We really just like to get up on stage and have a good time jamming with each other. Our style is not easily defined...we have quite a few fast pop-punk songs, but we also have several slow acoustic songs, and even a couple of ballads. We even have some instrumentals. We pretty much cover most of the bases...and we have a sense of humor in our lyrics as well.

BS still has all of its original members (we are still less than a year old, after all), and these members consist of Danny Huggins on drums/vocals, Zach Montandon on lead guitar/vocals, and Bryan Cooper on bass guitar/vocals. None of us has had more than the very basic musical training, and BS is the first actual rock band any of us has been a part of...but I think we make it work pretty well.

We have played several shows in the Texas panhandle, but are always on the lookout for shows elsewhere as well. We have played with many local bands and also with the likes of 9 2 Nite and Don't Die Cindy. We have one album out, 'A Steaming Pile of BS' (fully recorded and produced for a total of $120), and are currently working on a second, as yet, untitled CD.

I'm not prepared to say that BS is the best band you will ever hear, but I will say that we'll get up on stage and have a good time, and if you want to have a good time with us, you are more than welcome. Just remember, we may be a bunch of BS, but BS never sounded as good as this.
