BRAK: Rock And Roll. Period.
To create incredible rock music, to record and release, is this enough? Of course not. The Flint, Mi. based power trio, BRAK, is looking forward to bringing their high intensity stage show to a venue near you. With an expansive array of stylistic material that has thrilled the crowds in the clubs of their hometown, the band has a vast repertoire that has been tested and unanimously approved by an ever-growing audience time and again . BRAK's approach has always been to provide a different, more exciting form of entertainment wherever they play. Rock music hasn't been this 'rock and roll' in quite a while. While many bands are competing with each other to see who can do the best covers of current hit songs, BRAK strives to give the audience what no other band can, or dares to. In the words of one of their fans, 'it's like, you can have a dozen different hamburger joints on the strip, and they're all serving pretty much the same thing, but what happens when people get tired of small greasy burgers? Pretty soon, everybody wants to try the big burrito.'
BRAK's beginnings were simple enough. A rhythm section with the natural synchronicity of sticking together through the demise of several bands meets a guitar player with chops, hooks, and serious vocal prowess. Put one and one and one together in this equation and it comes out more like four, more than the sum of it's parts. The music, a contemporary rock n' roll sound with a classic feel, combines power pop songcraft with the improvisational feel of a jam session.
BRAK is brewing up a tasty blend of power pop, punk, blues, and a few other secret special ingredients that will quench the thirsts of parched true rock and roll fans everywhere. Belly on up to the bar, friends, let's all do a shot of BRAK.
