Azzurro is a 3 piece pop/rock band based in Cork city Ireland.Over the past few years it has built a large fan base in the Southern region of the country by playing covers in bars and clubs to suppliment its ongoing recording project for thier first album,some of the material for this album has been placed on the bands website for preview.

The band consists of guitar bass and vocals, using sampled drums and keyboards to create a very live and authentic sound. The investmaent in top of the range equipment is an ongoing process and has included the purchase of a full turbosound and p5 pa system, allowing the band more independance for live performing.

During 2005 the band increased it's gig base to include a performance in Oxford London where the reception from fans even surprised the band members themselves,the increased traffic to the bands site at www.azzurroband,com is mainly due to the inclusion recently of the original material for free download,the use of this meduium allows the band the facility to test thier sonfgs on potential markets and has created a demand in pre-album sales.
