Simple and witty songs about the great American landscape performed on acoustic guitar (Drew Mason) and upright bass (Morgan Thompson). This duo has been playing together in other groups since 2002, when they met while attending Evergreen State College in Olympia, WA. Recently, their love for folk and country music prompted them to form this ensemble, which has allowed them to focus on their songwriting and storytelling without the extra weight of a full band.

Like tune slingin' musical mercenaries, Audio and the Sound have been renowned for their spontaneous appearances at shindigs and hoo-rahs, where their sure to leave no one uninspired. Their performances are revered by the young and old, and they always enjoy collaborating with other songwriters and instrumentalists.
