Vulnerable, a little quirky, a little naive, highly confident and somewhat ridiculous in the level at which we express ourselves through music.

Atomic Tom is fed and watered by Luke White. While pursuing his personal obsession with Star Wars actresses, Luke has amassed an array of minor triumphs as a musician and entertainer.

Born in Virginia to a local jazzman and an Italian-American political activist, Luke mastered guitar + keys + drums at an obscenely young age. He founded a series of experimental teenage bands including Suede Butterfly and Mad Scientists. He also did a brief stint as a world-class dancer, winning the 1999 North Atlantic Swing Dance Championship before hanging up his patent leathers.

In 2002 he moved to Boston, studied at the Berklee College of Music, and played at rock clubs such as TT's and the Middle East. Luke currently lives in Brooklyn with actress Megan Manzi and a plastic figurine of Queen Amidala.
