Aqua Ape started as an experiment in the studio. Scott Leever, the Founder, was interested in trying to mix Techno, with a Guitar Rock sound. Think Steve Vai meets Orbital. As a result, Scott ended up carving a niche for himself.

a new sound. This album is very experimental, Scott says,”listening to Frontiers now, I think, man I was green.” Frontiers did far well on the inter net, reaching the top ten charts on MP3.com, and Popwirer.com. Aqua Ape also sold quite a few CDs through the inter net. Not bad for a Freshman.

Immediately after Frontiers release, Scott Started to work on Aqua Apes new CD. Scott has always loved the old concept bands of the seventies. Rush,Pink Floyd,Yes,ect..So he thought, why not a Techno concept album. Using a Sci Fi theme, Scott set off to right, Dreams of Saturn. Scott spent close to a year on Aqua Apes, Dreams of Saturn, by doing so, he was able to hone in on his own unique sound. Look for Dreams of Saturn, by mid Aug.2000.
