Anne's Plague and Grandpa's Walker has been around for many years. It's hard to define a definite point when the band was formed, as it is a project encompassing many artists. It all began with a four track recorder. And, then on to the digital age when the production of songs really took off.
Producer/engineer Mark Maki is the core of Anne's Plague and Grandpa's Walker. Using a wide range of instruments including: guitars, banjos, drums, samples, keyboards, violins, melodicas, kalimbas, percussion, found sounds, etc. the songs are built.
Using the latest technologies and building and re-building songs again and again, the sounds that come from this band can vary greatly. From slow moving acoustic songs, to speedy electronic music there is always a balance that makes the music very enjoyable.
