Angels Growl started as a trio in early 2001. David Price and Georgia Winfree are the groups chief songwriters and they are writing and rehearsing for the first original Angels Growl CD. They will hopefully have this out by the end of 2001 begiining of 2002. Go to the band's web site and watch the progress of a band from rehearsal to finished product! Should prove very interesteing. Lots of rehearsal snippets being updated as the material evolves into the finished product.

The group consists of Georgia Winfree from Greenville, NC on vocals, David Price on guitars and vocals, Ricky Smith on bass and Chris Holloman on drums and vocals, all from Raleigh, NC.

Georgia has volumes of journals full of lyrics while David is the 'hookman' evolving the lyrics into catchy tunes that drip with emotion. They play beautiful ballads and infectious pop with an alternative edge.

David has run David & Jennifer Price's Original Super Karaoke for years with wife, Jennifer in North Carolina playing literally thousands of shows. They were the first to introduce the 'sport' of karaoke to thousands and thousands of people in North Carolina 12 or so years ago. David decided in 2001 to get back into 'live' playing after many told him it was time to get some originals out and start playing guitar again. Ricky is an employee of Buffalo Tire in Raleigh and plays bass along with his drumming counterpart, schoolteacher, Chris Holloman.
