The band is from Dalton, Georgia. Dalton's former name was Cross Plains & that is how the band got their name. Guitarist, David McEntire has influences that range from Eric Clapton, to Stevie Ray Vaughn, to B.B. King. His guitar playing combined with his vocals are impeccable. He's a tough act to follow. Bass guitarist is Alan(Skippy)Davis. He is the court jester of the bunch. He brings to the band a sound combined with rock, funk & country that only he can do.

As you know, all bands need a great drummer to keep them together, & we have one of the best. His name is Steve Ballew. He is known for his awesome quad rolls, & amazing drum solos. He definetly keeps us in beat.

Our lead guitarist is Alan Asbury. His styles of playing are influenced by Kiss, Zepplin, & Ozzy. He is a perfectionist & you can see it when he performs. His musical talents go much futher than lead guitar. He supports the band in anyway you can imagine. Not only does he add keyboards to their sound, but his four octive range helps to make their four part harmony unmistakeably Cross Plains.

The lead vocalist of the band is ALISA. She is the heart & soul of the band & you can tell it when she performs. Her vocal ability is out of this world. She has been compared to Janice Joplin, Pat Benatar,& Wynonna. When she takes the stage, she makes sure that herself & the band will leave you screaming for more. All of this musical talent & vocal ability is brought to you in a show that has so much energy, style & flair, that it can only be known as distinctly, CROSS PLAINS.
