Alias Julius has long reflected the musical passions that inspired her while she was growing up in Detroit, MI. Alias has continued to explore her passions and define her distinctive voice through out her time as a performer. With influences that range from Bob Dylan to Billie Holiday, AJ demonstrates a refreshingly different style to crowds everywhere.

Trained as a classical musician, Alias has had the opportunity to perform in various orchestras and symphonies, with some of the finest musicians in the country. She is proficientin brass and woodwind instruments, demonstrating her versatility as an musician.

In 2000 she recorded and released her first cd entitled 'Boondox', which features fourteen folk/rock originals.
