In the late summer of ’2002 a serious lack of choices for quality live rock music existed in Kingman and the tri-state area, and something had to be done. Bill Alexander, Kathy Alexander, Scott O'Meara, and Geno Pennington decided to get together, and so Alexanders' Attic was formed. This combination has proven to be just what the public wanted, and their fan base immediately developed at an unheard of pace. Since then, Alexanders' Attic has managed to build the kind of buzz that is envied by all other bands on the local scene. They have established themselves as the band to watch, and watch out for. Blurring the line between band and social movement, Alexanders' Attic provides the Arizona rock scene with the soul that it desperately needs.
Band Members
Bill Alexander - Guitar / Vocals
Bill started playing the accoustic guitar when he was 12. A year later, influenced by the likes of Eric Clapton and Black Sabbath, he turned his attention to the electric guitar. From 1974 to 1997 he joined many bands, playing cover versions and original material alike. He gained much experience with such semi-professional acts. With band Zandersongs Music, Bill had a review by the editor of Rolling Stone magazine. In 1997, his music was reviewed by Recording magazine. By the end of 2000, his music was getting airplay on local radio stations.
Scott O'Meara - Bass / Vocals
Sharing vocal duties is 35-year-old bassist Scott O'Meara. Because of his experience, impressive stage presence, and long-time friendship with the other members of Alexanders' Attic, O'Meara was somewhat of a natural choice. O'Meara has been singing and playing music since 1986. He recorded a CD with the band Lokjaw, aside from recordings with other side projects. O'Meara has shared the stage with rock notables as Flotsam & Jetsam, members of Dokken, Motley Crue and Ryan Roxie of Alice Cooper.Through the years, he has developed his own way of singing - a melodious but powerful voice.
