The members of AktOut have known each other all their lives, but the band was actually formed in early 2001. An empty basement filled with the stinch of pot and 4 young guys looking for something new fused into what is now known as AktOut

The band consists of Myles Hurtt (g-funk) on guitar, Ronak Patel on drums, Dipal Patel (DoobieD) on bass and Joseph Conaway doing vocals.

The band belives in many things and it all shows through their music. Let the music speak for itself. AktOut believes that they would not continue playing even if a single member left for whatever reason. This perfect combination is the heart of AktOut.

Their style of music is highly varied, but always funky and groovy. They range from blues to metal and everything in between. Music is not really something one can classify.
