AOG is not a band! We are a ministry! Our goal is to present you with a worship experience that will leave you inspired with an entire new outlook of Jesus Christ. We have a very unique sound that we believe no other band can copy. This sound is a result of our heavy southern rock influences as young adults. We have taken that southern sound and have tweeked together a southern alternative christian sound. We have an Allman Brothers flavor with a Black Crowes/Lynyrd Skynyrd overtone. We write and compose our own music which we have recorded on to two CD's. We have performed all over South Carolina and would like to spread, to the world, our message of who Jesus Christ is and what He means to our ministry. The Lord has blessed our ministry wherever we have traveled bringing young and old people to know Jesus. We have no limits to where we will take our message, and we have no regrets to those who have received it. We dare each other to step out of our comfort zones into the darkness to bring the Light of Jesus to the unknowing and spiritually blind world.

AOG consists of Jason Coffey on lead vocals and rythmn guitar, Dean Childress on bass guitar, Thad Wood on piano/organ/rythmn guitar and back-up vocals, Jeff Dellinger on rythmn guitar and Special Message, Patrick Lowery on drums and percussion, Jon Rentz on lead guitar and back-up vocals. Each member of AOG brings their talent to the table where we carefully organize every original with input from all.

In the last year we have been blessed with some good opportunities. The debut of our 'I AM' CD has helped us receive many e-mails from people all over the southeast of how this CD has really inspired them. We played at a conference in Myrtle Beach where we had a definite positive response from the people. Many of these people bought our CD and we now have people e-mailing us around the southeast wanting this CD. We spent many months on this CD and we recorded it in a studio in Spartanburg. Tim Lawter (Marshall Tucker Band) recorded and helped us produce this CD, so you definitely know it will have a southern draw to it. We have also had some input on this album from Howard 'Sparky' Childress from the Sparkletones (Rockabilly), whose son is our bass player.

Now all we need is a chance to bring our worship experience to you. AOG stands for Acts of God and that is what we want you to experience when you come and worship with us. We want the Holy Spirit to move on you like a hurricane, shake up your life like an earthquake, bring the tears with a flood, and renew you soul with a fire that will never be extinguished.
