45self was formulated in 2000. 'memeBERS' include Maat Nemovanta and Mike Sullivan. Different processes and techniques are intergrated with different modes of conciousness to create a atmosphere of altered reality for the listener.

Most of the musick is recorded live and then different sections are cut-up and filtered in various directions in the recording. Although there are conventional instruments used (drums,bass,guitar) occasionally, most of the sound is made up from experimental field recordings and various vintage analog equipment. We love noise and subliminal transmissions.

Our most recent endeavors are distributing our recent release, 'Aztec Gameshow Death Ritual' and trying to push the boundries of sanity further out. We have had great response all over the world from US to Germany to Canada. We have been contacted by a nameless organization to produce a subliminal sound program for their use. We are currently working on 2 tracks for a German experimental label.
