32 Over originally started with the name Halogen which Jordan started around 1997. Halogen played a few shows, local, nothing too amazing. It slowly faded off with just a few hits resulting from it. What surfaced in early 2002 would revolutionize the band. Jordan decided to start it up again with intentions of going platinum. He got together a few of his friends which seemed not to work out too well and he was left again searching. Through rearrangements of positions, 32 Over was formed.
32 Over is a Pop/Punk/Rock band formed out of the Chicago burbs. Being childhood friends, the 4 boys decided to start a band. Getting their name from a speeding ticket, members Jordan Comstock (Vocals/guitar), Matt Winthers (Guitars/backup vocals), Mark Foote (Bass), and Dan Lukaszewski (Drums) define originality in their rhythms and style of music.
Finally the band was formed and what resulted was Jordan at Lead Vocals and backup guitars, Matt Winthers at Lead guitar and backup vocals, Mark at Bass and Dan of course at Drums. A name change was obviously needed because they felt that they had a whole new direction then what Jordan's old band was. During one of their many practices during early 2002, Dan showed up a little late. He later explained to the band that he had received a speeding ticket for going 32 miles over the speed limit. 67 in a 35!.....nice job Dan. The band was searching for a name and it occurred to Dan that this would be a suitable name. He recommended it to the guys, a unanimous vote was given and 32 Over was born. Things started picking up quickly for 32 Over. Their first show as a band was with Plain White T's as well as another band that was also off of VANS 'Warped Tour'. Since then the guys have gone through amazing days, playing with their favorite bands and experience a true rock experience with such things as backstage Q101's Twisted 9 among other events. The band has never been closer, the guys are a perfect match, and 32 Over is on its way to the top.
This and the fans have pushed 32 Over on its way to platinum.
