The 3 Heads were founded during the mid-90s in Northern California by singer/songwriters Heath Francis, Patrick Cleary, and Stingray. There, they acquired a devoted local following over a few years of live performances at clubs, pubs and band competitions. After independently producing and recording their CD, entitled The World Was Ours (2003), and with the support of their many friends, family and fans, The 3 Heads decided it was time to spread the sound. And with that decision came the seemingly inevitable move to Southern California and Los Angeles.
The 3 Heads material is completely original and came primarily from Heath, Patrick, and Stingray. Things looked to remain that way for the small band that would become rock giants until disaster struck. Stingray , caught up in the success and ultimately the many vices that come along with it, began a battle, a battle that would change the direction of the 3 heads forever. Stingray was fighting addictions to drugs and alcohol and eventually removed himself from the band. Although no longer with the 3 heads you may be able to find Stingray doing spoken word at random open mics throughout the country focusing on - Humbolt, the country within the county.
Heath Francis and Patrick Cleary remain. The two were literally born within 3 days of each other in the same hospital and have pretty much been together ever since. Growing up in the same town, they had many of the same interests (especially music and sports) and went to many of the same schools. This foundation of friendship has evolved into an incredible chemistry in their song writing partnership and along with the addition of Jared Fisher (bass/guitars) and Covey Christensen (Drums/great Dane), the 3 Heads are set with a firm foundation as a group and are excited about the material being created. They sincerely believe that they have what it takes to spread both their original and new material to the masses with your help and support.
Having only recently relocated to L.A., the 3 Heads are only now beginning to expand their fan-base as far as possible. When listening to The 3 Heads you can’t help but appreciate this unique combination of friendship and music that gives off a feel and vibe of honesty and sincerity. They believe that if someone just listens to their music, they will hear and recognize the potential that The 3 Heads possess.
